Hey, I'm Thien.
I'm an RSPA certified tennis and pickleball coach based in Connecticut. This season I coach at Twin Lakes Beach Club in Salisbury and at Lakeridge in Torrington.
I work with players of every level, from people picking up a racket for the first time to competitive players who want to sharpen their game.
My coaching is about real technique and a strong mental game: the kind of habits that hold up when it matters.
Off the court I hike, travel, and try to keep my plants alive.

Good questions.
Who do you coach? Every level. Kids and adults, from beginners picking up a racket for the first time to competitive players who want their game to hold up in matches.
Tennis or pickleball? Both, same philosophy. Pickleball lessons are at Lakeridge in Torrington; tennis is at Twin Lakes and Lakeridge.
How long is a lesson? 60 or 90 minutes, one on one, at $100 an hour.
How does booking work? Pick a court and a time in the calendar. I text you to confirm, and again if anything changes.
Can anyone play at Twin Lakes? Twin Lakes Beach Club courts are private, so lessons there are for members and their guests. Lakeridge is open to book.
What do we work on? Technique, footwork and match strategy, plus the mental game: the habits that hold up when the score is close.
How do I pay? Venmo or cash, whichever is easier.
What about Farmington Valley, Fern Park and East Hartford? All three open when their season starts. Email me and I will tell you the day the calendar goes live.
What are your credentials? RSPA certified, a 4.5 USTA rating and a 4.4 DUPR rating, with more than eight years of coaching.
